Settings give you an easy and quick way to customize Cosmil’s functionality and appearance.

General

Move Behavior

Move behavior allows you to choose between Cut/Paste Windows style behavior and Copy/Move MacOS style behavior. If you select one behavior method, you cannot use the other (e.g. if Copy/Move is selected you cannot “Cut” any files).

Show Hidden Files

By default, files and folders that start with a . are hidden from the content pane. If you find yourself needing to access them often, you can show these files by enabling this setting.

Appearance

Window Transparency

Window transparency allows you to set the opacity of your window’s background color. 0 means the window background color is completely invisible, and 1 means it is completely visible (and the window’s backdrop blur effect will no longer be visible).

Dropzone

Disabling this setting will remove the dropzone from the sidebar.

Categories

Manage your categories by either creating them with the + button, or reordering/removing them via the buttons on the far right of each category.

Keybinds

For now, you can only view keybinds, so you can use this page as a reference if needed. Customizable keybinds may come in a future update if it is a highly requested feature.

License

In the license page you can view the last 4 characters of your license, manage your license, or disassociate it with the current installation.

About

About contains all of Cosmil’s important links as well as the current app version and Tauri framework version.
